1st grade curriculum [top]
First grade has many important milestones. Aside from playing, students will now begin to build their academic skills such as literacy, reading and writing, comprehension and communication, and basic math skills. A typical first grade curriculum covers math, language arts, and science. Homeschooling families can add other subjects to their child’s 1st grade curriculum such as social studies, arts, and other academically enriching activities.
